Feds Review Complaints on Ford Flex-Fuel Vehicles

The public citizen group watchdog consumer claims that some of the cars flex-fuel Ford have trouble starting, short rough and is prone to the loss of speed when filled with fuel mixture of ethanol E85 / gasoline. The National Road Safety Road said she reviewed the complaint. In his complaint to the Federal, President Joan Claybrook of Public Citizen said that 228,000 2003 -'05 Ford Tauruses and Mercury Sables should not be marked and counted as E85 vehicles because "they are not capable of operating on a mixture of fuel and gasoline alternatives. " Ford denies the allegation.
